Because we’re an independent consultancy and owner-operated, our people have the freedom to question convention and explore alternative approaches. They bring fresh eyes and thinking to the OMSIA process, which is grounded in specialist collaboration, Early Contractor involvement, design management and transparency across the sector. 

Our projects rarely rely only on one discipline so we work collaboratively with industry specialists from several disciplines (architects, cost accountants, design managers, quantity surveyors) each one contributing to the bigger picture to plan and build, safe, cost-effective venues.

  • Managing Director

    In 2022, Oran established OMISA with a clear mission: to modernise the creation of world-class venues by offering a faster, greener, and safer approach to client projects. Boasting over 25 years of expertise in the Sport & Leisure sector and fuelled by a deep passion for sports and the built environment, Oran takes the lead in steering OMISA's growth and initiatives. His role extends to enhancing the execution of client projects.

    Prior to launching OMISA, Oran served as the managing director of the Sport & Leisure division at Buckingham Group, a prominent multi-disciplinary contractor in the UK. In this capacity, he successfully oversaw the delivery of some of the most iconic and high-value Sport & Leisure developments in the UK and Ireland. Venturing into consultancy with OMISA marks a new chapter for Oran, where he is dedicated to redefining value in the Sports, Leisure, and entertainment sector. He has a proven track record in project delivery, mobilising large teams of people onto complex projects around the UK & Ireland.

    As the Managing Director, Oran embodies a profound understanding of delivering distinctive value. His exceptional talent for cultivating high-performing teams, coupled with his outstanding people skills and relentless drive, stands as a crucial asset to OMISA's offerings. He approaches his role with thoughtfulness and collaboration, championing diversity and inclusion to ensure that OMISA fosters a safe and welcoming environment for all.

  • Director

    Duncan excels in developing strong client relationships and leading wide-ranging, large, and often high profile, project teams on complex projects. He has worked with both public and private sector clients across several industry sectors, but his strength lies in the project management of Entertainment, Sports & Leisure projects. Duncan has held several senior roles within the industry, latterly as preconstruction director at Buckingham Group where he had responsibility for the planning stages of several distinguished and technically complex projects.

    With a CV that boasts over two decades of exceptional, hands-on experience in the Entertainment, Sport and Leisure sector, Duncan knows what it takes to deliver transformational programmes. From the AMEX stadium in Brighton to the new Swansea Arena situated in the heart of Copr Bay Wales, Duncan's people skills and drive to cultivate high-performing teams have been vital assets on his journey. He has an eye for understanding complex systems and finding solutions for the most daunting of tasks. From implementing Early Contractor Involvement strategies and working in live environments to developing MEP strategy, value engineering, space rationaliation and revenue planning initiatives, Duncan is supporting OMISA to redefine the boundaries of ambition in the sector.

    Transitioning to a consulting role, Duncan now leverages his extensive skills and experience to reshape OMISA's approach to delivering multifaceted projects and enhancing value for OMSIA clients. He is dedicated to cultivating project delivery talent to tackle construction challenges, with a keen emphasis on safety performance and sustainability. As a champion of net-zero initiatives, Duncan infuses each project with a passion for sustainability, redefining the boundaries of ambition within the sector.
